Kok-boru is a symbiosis of races and games. Riders are fighting for the carcass of the goat, it is necessary to take possession of it (take it from the ground without getting off the horse), to keep, to throw in the gate (cauldron). The actions of the players are monitored by the equestrian panel of judges, consisting of three experienced riders. The rules of the Kok-boru have evolved over time and become less cruel. First, teams play in groups, then the best fight for prizes.
In this championship the Altai in 2017 for the first time, a dummy goat was used.
